There is always something exciting being manufactured in our bespoke joinery facility. Today’s highlights are an enormous wine display cabinet for a luxury 5 star hotel and stunning display cabinets for a well know Scottish jewellers.

We’ve been producing bespoke joinery for over 50 years in Scotland and are very proud of our history.

SJS are delighted to hand over this spectacular office fit out at Edinburgh BioQuarter for Fios Genomics.

We hope the team enjoy their new office space, which is designed to create a positive environment – The kitchen in particular is a great open space to encourage and appreciate office socialisation!

Great to see more ‘pods’ being manufactured in our production facility for our hospitality client in Edinburgh. The completion picture says it all – WOW!

Here at SJS, we’re thinking about the planet and what we can do to help.

We’ve had Jorro ltd install 5 electrical vehicle charging points at our offices. This is on top of the 5  charging points we currently have.

We’ve now got 10 in total and with over 50% of our vehicles either hybrid or fully electric they will be very well used.

We are manufacturing some stunning bespoke furniture at the moment, from huge bespoke seating units, secret bookcase doors, beautiful wooden slatted walls and counter units to high quality kitchens.

Some of these bespoke pieces are currently being shipped all the way to Monaco.

The Annual SJS Golf Day at Liberton Golf Club was once again a great success. Congratulations to our Alan Timlin for captaining his team to victory this year.

Thanks to our suppliers and sub-contractors; JGM – John G Mackintosh, BRANNOCK DECORATORS LTD. ORCHARD TIMBER PRODUCTS, P&M Sinclair Ltd, ASK Supplies and St Andrews Timber for their generous prizes and to James Bauld from Pentland Jaguar Land Rover for offering a car (for the weekend) as a prize.

We had a great turnout once again for what was a fantastic day, looking forward to next year.
