Completed Project, Murrayfield Stadium

Great site visit to another successfully completed project, after which Beckie and our Site Manager Leigh had a sneaky look around! We can’t wait to share the images of it, but in the meantime, why don’t you ‘try’ and guess where it is.

10 William Street Refurbishment

Exciting start to the week as we kick-off a brand new project at 10 William Street. The contract involves the refurbishment and fit-out of the existing property to form a bookshop and consulting rooms. The completed space will be put to good use by the charity, The Next Chapter – we look forward to seeing the transformation. We are delighted to work in partnership with SHS Burridge Architects on this project.

Congratulations Damien!

Huge congratulations to Damien Brown for successfully completing his carpentry and joinery skills test.  He is one of five apprentices currently enrolled in our training and development programme, working towards becoming a fully qualified bench hand joiner. Very well deserved for all the hard work put in!

QMU Lecture Theatre Refurbishment

Over summer, we successfully transformed lecture theatre space for Queen Margaret University, ready for the first semester of the academic year. The 4 week project was delivered in partnership with Niall Young Architecture Ltd, Harley Haddow, F3 Building Surveyors Limited and Sandy Brown Associates

Corian Training Completed

Huge congratulations to 6 members of our joinery production team (including one of our apprentices) who completed a Corian training course last week. We have always maintained that our ability in consistently providing service excellence to our clients is driven by continually developing the skills of our joinery team. We look forward to seeing what you guys produce with this new skillset!

Lord Thomson Halls, Student Accommodation Refurbishment

Over summer, we completed the refurbishment of Lord Thomson Halls student accommodation for Heriot Watt University, a massively challenging project in a 10 week programme timescale. The refurbishment included alterations to 203 bedrooms, over 40 kitchens, 4 staircases, corridors, 3 lift lobbies and 2 warden flats. The full works included the supply and installation of new bathroom pods within the bedrooms, new fitted kitchens complete with all  white goods, new floor coverings throughout and electrical lighting, power and data installation and a full redecoration throughout.

The project, which ran between June and August, was successfully delivered on programme in time for the arrival of the 2018/19 freshers.
