Mary Brück Café, University of Edinburgh

We are delighted to have secured the refurbishment of the Mary Brück Café for the University of Edinburgh. The project involves the refurbishment of existing café space and the renewal of servery counters.  We look forward to working in partnership with our valued client to successfully redevelop the cafe space for its students and staff.

Heriot Watt University, Robotarium

We are delighted to have secured the development and refurbishment of the Robotics Laboratory & Workshop within the Earl Mountbatten Building for Heriot Watt University. The project involves the refurbishment of existing high voltage and observation laboratories to form a new Human-Robot-Interaction (HRI) Laboratory and a Land Robot space. The project starts later this month and we look forward to working in partnership with our valued client to successfully redevelop the laboratory and workshop space for the its students and research.

Welcome Tom!

With our bespoke manufacturing operation continuing to thrive, producing the finest quality joinery products and exceptional service to our constantly increasing client base, we are pleased to welcome Tom Watson (French Polisher) back into the SJS production team to support the continued expansion of the business, ensuring we maintain our reputation for delivering the highest quality of finishes and manufactured joinery products. Having previously worked with the business for six years, Tom is delighted to be back and looks forward to working with the team again.

Edinburgh Napier University, Hydra Café Refurbishment

We are delighted to have secured the refurbishment of Hydra Cafe for Edinburgh Napier University. The project starts early next year and we look forward to working in partnership with our valued client to successfully deliver improved recreational facilities for its students.

Innes Buckley becomes the newest member of our bespoke manufacturing joinery team, starting his apprenticeship with SJS today as a bench hand joiner.
