SJS Apprenticeship Program

As modern apprenticeships play an increasingly important part in Scotland’s construction industry, we are delighted that the Minister for Employability & Training, Jamie Hepburn, has recognised the significant investment made by the SJS through our apprenticeship & development program.  Today we welcomed Jamie along with Nicola Swan (SDS), Marie Donnelly (SDS) and Paul McGillivray (Scottish Gov) to meet with 4 of our 6 current apprentices. SJS recognises the future success of our specialist manufacturing service depends on our ability to develop new talent and maintain a team with traditional craftsmanship skills.  2 further new apprentices will be starting their careers with SJS next week.
