SJS Property Services is pleased to showcase the recent completion of a high-quality Cat B refurbishment for Spacelabs at 7 Lochside, Edinburgh.

Delivered over 12 weeks, the £450k project involved an extensive refurbishment of the existing office space, creating a modern and functional working environment for the Spacelabs team.

The works included the removal and replacement of existing mechanical and electrical services, flooring and fabric items, alongside the installation of new lighting, power, data, security and fire alarm systems.

New mechanical ventilation, VRF systems, pipework and drainage were also installed, with further improvements including new flooring, decoration, ceramic wall tiling and a new tea preparation area complete with stone worktops.

The refurbishment incorporated a combination of plasterboard partitions, glazed screens and doors, Autex acoustic panelling and ribbed metal panelling, helping to create a contemporary and considered finish throughout the space.

SJS also delivered a range of bespoke joinery elements, along with new timber doors, ironmongery, feature ceilings and bulkheads.

The completed project delivers a high-quality modern office environment, combining practicality with carefully considered finishes and detailing throughout.
